There can be no more second guessing Chris Leak, whose legacy is now secure at the University of Florida. Winning the SEC title is a great accomplishment. Winning the national title, which Leak did Monday night, is the ultimate accomplishment.

College coaches love to use those words of integrity, commitment, and character when they are talking to their young players but when a coach doesn't live up to his own hyperbole, then the sports world has a major problem with him. Such is the case with Nick Saban. The Big East may have been the best conference in Division I-A college football this year. Certainly at least one of the top two. They finished with a 32-8 (.800) out-of-conference record.
