Now with HOME RUNS in the  news - not that they ever aren't - how about dedicating ourselves to the LEGACIES of the TWO Greatest Home Run Hitters of ALL time. And especially REVIVING appreciation of JOSH GIBSON the Greatest Baseball Player Ever.

NOW more than ever it is  time to return INTEGRITY to Baseball and who better than untainted,  uncompromised truly GREAT African Americans. We  already know  of Hank Aaron who remains the Greatest MLB Home Run Hitter of All Time.  Aaron will remain the MLB Home Run King for years the only player on the  horizon who might legitimately challenge him for the MLB Record is Alex  Rodriguez. It remains to be seen. Even more Ryan Howard though deprived  of 3-4 MLB seasons by the Phillies. for NO good reason.

Today let's concentrate on

Home Run Frenzy.

Some fans and all knowledgeable  Baseball People know of Josh Gibson him playing his entire career in the  Negro Leagues most notably with the Homestead and Washington Grays. But  in our day his name never comes up when greatest players and especially  greatest Home Run hitters are discussed.

When in fact Gibson is

the Greatest of them All

We should NEVER concede the  incredible accomplishments of Negro League players because Blatant Racism  stopped them from playing Major League Baseball. The fact is Negro League  Ball was the equal and often far better than Major League Baseball. If  there was real fairness and justice which of course there never will be  Negro League and MLB records would be MERGED into one master data  base of player records.

Instead we will always

have to fight for the

Negro League players

and their records and

accomplishments

none more so than

  Great Josh Gibson

Of course there are the Gibson detractors,  and the Satchel Paige detractors and detractors read WHITE detractors  of any and all Negro League players. There are two choices for the rest  of us when it comes to these Racist Deniers either 1) ignore them,  or 2) pity them. So let's get right to the Point .....

EVEN GIBSON'S MLB HALL OF FAME  PLAQUE STATES ... Josh Gibson hit "almost 800 Home Runs." WHAT  !! That's right even the anti-Negro League MLB ADMITS grudgingly  that Josh Gibson is the ALL TIME HOME RUN KING !! But why don't  we hear about it today ESPECIALLY today this week ..... WAKE  UP .......

Do you really think the WHITE Sports media OR MLB OR the new "pretender" to the throne  is going to talk about Josh Gibson .... not in this world maybe in some  parallel or better non-parallel "universe" trillions of light years or  is it DARK years away from Planet Earth.

When it comes to the REALITY of Baseball history White America and the White Power Structure in America  is conveniently oblivious to the Truth. The problem with the TRUTH in America is the same today as it has always been in America. The TRUTH  is "MESSY" for White Supremacy.

The REALITY is Gibson likely  hit as many as 1000 Home Runs in his Negro League career and along  with that a mind boggling career Batting Average of over .360 which  means Gibson was BOTH the GREATEST Home Run Hitter and GREATEST Batter  in Baseball history.

It is absolutely beyond Belief that  a player who played his entire career catching is the Greatest Player ever.  You don't have to know anything about Baseball to know Catching is far  and away the most grueling the most draining position on the Baseball Diamond.  While there have certainly been great catchers in MLB history NO catcher is considered among the very best players ever.

So as two current players "steal"  the Home Run spotlight at the moment let us PRAISE True Baseball  Greatness. African American Greatness. Hank Aaron and Josh Gibson stand ALONE at the Pinnacle of Home Run Champions. NO one may ever  usurp either certainly not for many years to come.
