Keeping It Real??

For all that he’s accomplished on and off the court, it hasn’t really translated to opportunities for those who need direction. The only major knock I’ve had against MJ is he never took stands on controversial issues that affect the African-American community.

Last season, coming off a knee injury, Al Jefferson busted his tail for a woeful T-Wolves team that only won 15 games all season long. Now, he's coming to a franchise that almost takes postseason appearances for granted.

Let’s be real here. As a citizen I could give a rip about what James does. It’s like any of us are benefiting monetarily or otherwise from where he plays. But as a journalist and sports fan, I have a huge issue with what how James duped the city of Cleveland.
