I don’t know or care whether Kansas basketball forward Darrell Arthur had grades changed while he was a prep star in Texas. It’s really irrelevant. We all know it happens. In a country filled with jock-sniffers, no one should be startled that teachers and administrators want a whiff, too.

An unnamed NCAA representative told ESPN.com that there would need to be evidence that Arthur or Kansas had knowledge of the changed grades for there to be punishment.
Hoop Pioneer Will Robinson Dies At 96

Robinson broke a racial barrier in the 1970s when he coached Illinois State. He joined the Pistons as a scout in 1976, and the additions of Joe Dumars and Dennis Rodman were keys to Detroit's 1989 and 1990 NBA championships.

2008 NCAA Champion Kansas Jayhawks have a strange, yet historical connection to the University of North Carolina. Before the Jayhawks defeated the Tar Heels 84-66 in Final Four, the two teams hadn't played a game with that much magnitude since 1957.
