According to several sources including the Dallas Morning News, Jones, who was supposed to stay out of the limelight including skipping a recent charity beach volleyball game per Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, got himself in an altercation at the Joule Hotel in downtown Dallas with of all people one of his Dallas Cowboys provided security guards.

The second quarter of the NFL season began with a wild weekend filled with upsets, furious finishes, unbelievable comebacks, teams rising, teams falling toward the “parity” packed middle, downtrodden teams (one or fewer wins) slipping toward preparing for the 2009 NFL Draft and further distinctions between contenders and pretenders.

Please tell me who thought before last week that the Chiefs would run all over the Broncos and the Redskins, who looked pretty lowly in their season opening loss to the Giants, would go into Dallas and beat the mighty Cowboys...
