Xavier Makes Impact In HBCU Event In Atlanta

Xavier University's Yuliem Dominguez played three tennis matches and won two titles Saturday in the HBCU National Championships. She needed nearly three hours to defeat Florida A&M's Kathline Durden 6-7 (7-3), 6-3, 6-3 in the women's B-flight singles final.

The final was a contrast in style. Power vs. finesse and power won. Williams was as excited after the match as she ever has been. She has not been No. 1 since August of 2003.
