Andrew Dixon, host of BASN's The Back of the Net was a long time casual soccer fan who fell in love with the game with after attending matches during the 1994 World Cup. He launched GolNoir.net in 2002 to help introduce the game to Black Americans and began his affiliation with BASN in 2004 with the first of a series of articles and opinion pieces on such wide ranging topics as the MLS playoffs, racism in European soccer, the paucity of Black coaches in major clubs and the Soccer Haters.

He has interviewed players such as former American Internationals Eddie Pope and Roy Lassiter to Youth Soccer officials like Jill Robbins and Dr. John Thomas.

In addition to hosting The Back of the Net, he also authors columns for the USSoccerPlayers.com website.

Andrew is a Miami based Attorney originally from the Boston area by way of Washington.
